Challenge
Cobalt Housing came to us looking for a SharePoint intranet which was easy to maintain and could share a wide range of content. Their users wanted a full homepage with plenty of useful content to help them with their flow of working.
The intranet went live to colleagues and the feedback has been hugely positive across the organisation. 85% of colleagues accessed the site in the first week, with an average time on site of 11.31 minutes and 2,898 views recorded.
Key Product
SharePoint, Intranet
"Working with Thinkshare on the creation and implementation of Cobalt Connect can only be described as a dream. Having never had an intranet prior to Cobalt Connect, Mhairi, Lucy and the team guided us exceptionally through the process, ensuring all of our questions were answered and our visions for Cobalt's first ever intranet were realised..."

Cobalt Housing
Cobalt Housing are a housing association based in North Liverpool to manage and maintain around 6,000 affordable homes. They provide quality places to live, and support to those who need it
The Challenge
They came to us looking for a SharePoint intranet which was easy to maintain and could share a wide range of content. Their users wanted a full homepage with plenty of useful content to help them with their flow of working.
The Process
They selected us due to our experience delivering intranet projects with multiple clients across a range of sectors. We ran multiple discovery workshops with Cobalt Housing and key stakeholders understanding their needs and requirements from their new intranet.
In the design phase we created wireframes and then designs which reflected the conversations we had had with users during the Discovery Phase. We also worked with our project team to ensure it was a solution employees would be able to use every day. For this client it was important the homepage was busy with lots of useful elements.
Within the build phase we created the site as per the signed off designs and navigation.
The Outcome
Finally we trained content owners on how to manage and maintain the intranet so that they could keep it up to date beyond go live. The intranet then went live to colleagues and the feedback has been hugely positive from all colleagues.
"...Alongside being engaging and friendly advisors for the project, they were sure to keep us accountable, helping maintain the timeline of the project and kept us hitting key milestones.
Now, with Cobalt Connect's launch, we've received some incredible stats, with 93% of colleagues accessing the site across the first week, and colleagues have shared their praise for the design, structure, and capability of the Intranet. A massive thank you goes from us to Thinkshare for everything they've done to make this project a success!- Craig Milligan ~ Digital Project Manager
