People Make Glasgow Sign

Discover, weeks one and two.

We start by building a picture of how work is carried out today across operations, finance, IT and the front line. That means spending time with the people doing the work as well as those who look after the systems, and reviewing your Microsoft 365 tenant reporting to understand where time and content are going.

By the end of week two we have a set of candidate opportunities drawn from your own organisation, each one grounded in something a colleague has described to us.

Assess, week three.

Each opportunity is then considered on the value it could create, the effort involved and the risks that would need managing. Alongside that we look at the foundations that determine how smoothly any of it will land, which covers data quality, governance, security, licensing, skills and readiness to adopt. Where we find areas that would benefit from attention, we set out what they are and what it would take to address them.

Where a process would benefit from being refined before a tool is introduced, we will say so, as that is often the quickest route to a return.

Roadmap, week four.

The final week brings everything together into a phased twelve month plan, with dependencies, owners and the capability each phase builds. Alongside it you receive a costed business case for the first phase, prepared in the format your finance team already works with, and a sixty minute session in which we take your leadership team through the findings, our recommendation and the decisions that follow from them.

What you receive on day twenty

The assessment ends with six deliverables, all of them yours to keep.

  • AI readiness scorecard. Data quality, governance, security, licensing, skills and readiness to adopt, each scored against benchmarks, with a clear view of the areas that would benefit from attention first.
  • Use case backlog. Ten to fifteen opportunities drawn from your own organisation, each assessed on the value it could create against the effort and risk involved.
  • Twelve month roadmap. Four quarters, with dependencies, owners and the capability that each phase builds.
  • Costed phase one business case. Investment, licence implications, expected return and payback, anchored to baseline measures we agree with you at the outset.
  • Governance guardrails. Acceptable use, data boundaries, and the points at which a person should remain in the loop.
  • Executive playback. A sixty minute session with your leadership team covering the findings, our recommendation, and the decisions in front of you.

Working alongside your team

We have designed the assessment to sit lightly on the organisation. Over the four weeks we would ask for around six hours of stakeholder time in total, read only access to Microsoft 365 tenant reporting, and a sponsor who can help us bring the right people together at the right moments. Everything else sits with us.

Recommendations that are not tied to one product

We are a Microsoft Solutions Partner and we implement Copilot regularly, but the assessment is not a Copilot pitch. Some of what we recommend will run on Copilot, some on Claude, and some on automation that is not AI at all. We group what we find into three categories: assist, where AI supports someone in work they already do, augment, where it changes the way the work is carried out, and automate, where the task no longer needs a person at all.

Investment

From £4,995 plus VAT for organisations of up to 50 users, fixed and scoped before we begin. The pilot and the training that often follow are a separate engagement, priced once you have decided which phase you would like to take forward. There is no obligation to continue, and the six deliverables are yours either way.

Common questions

  • How long does it take? Twenty working days from kick off through to the executive playback.
  • Do we need to have bought Copilot first? No. Part of what the assessment does is help you decide whether Copilot is worth buying, and which teams would benefit most from it.
  • What if the findings suggest we are not ready? Then the roadmap will say so, and it will set out what to address first and what that is likely to cost.
  • What access do you need? Read only access to Microsoft 365 tenant reporting. We do not need access to the content itself.
  • Is the fee fixed? Yes. From £4,995 plus VAT for organisations of up to 50 users, agreed in writing before the work begins.
